You don’t need any other memos to remind yourself what a year 2020 has been. I will say that looking back now, we should have known that this year was going to be a dumpster fire on roller skates when we lost Kobe in January.
We’ll start by saying that amid the chaos, we feel incredibly blessed that we could still remain operable when some of the country closed down and many lost their jobs. Within our industry we’ve seen how businesses have come together to creatively pivot business models and ensure the safety of our communities through extended practices.
During the holiday season supply chains are strained with increases in shipments. From food to consumer goods and medical supplies, we are especially thankful for the drivers whom we rely upon to keep our businesses and lives running smoothly. Air high five to them - do you guys remember how to shake hands still?
Despite such a year, we would like to say thank you for continuing to put your trust in us at One Distribution to serve you safely and efficiently. It is truly our pleasure to be a part of your days and communities. We hope to be able to connect in person in the next year - even though virtual meetings with sweatpants have been pretty decent. Shoot, maybe we can practice our handshakes and high fives again. Apologies ahead of time in the event we accidentally shake wrists or hit your forehead instead of hand.
